Terrassa Competitive Identity and Internationalization Strategy

The new Competitive Identity and Internationalization Strategies designed by Future Places for the City of Terrassa over the last one and a half years with then support and participation of the city’s key public and private stakeholders were introduced to the media last Tuesday May 15 with the participation of Amadeu Aguado, Deputy Mayor of Culture, Innovation and City Projection of Terrassa.
The presentation highlighted the methodology and process followed to design both strategies and presented the main findings and recommendations as well as the implementation plans. Five key areas has been identified for the international promotion of the city including the Audiovisual, Health, Culture and Cultural Heritage, Grass Hockey and Education and University sectors.
These strategies will allow the city increase its attractiveness in an increasingly global and competitive world were places compete with each other for residents, visitors, talent, investment, events, etc.
