Branding, marketing and promotional strategy and action plan for Georgia

Juan Carlos Belloso is participating as lead strategy expert in the design of the overall tourism branding, marketing and promotional strategy and action plan for Georgia, as well as the branding strategy for Imereti and the marketing and promotion strategy and relevant action plan for the Kakheti regions.
During these past weeks, the project team has been working on assessments of Georgia’s current tourism development strategies and marketing plans and current tourism assets, as well as developing a complete research on the country’s image perception in key outsource markets as well as internally.
Last week Juan Carlos Belloso travelled to Georgia to conduct workshops and presentations in the cities of Tbilisi, Kutaisi and Telavi, where he met with public and private stakeholders of the tourism sector. In these sessions, the project team encouraged participants to share their vision of the main assets and associations of their region as well as of Georgia’s as a tourist destination in order to identify potential routes for the new positioning as well as for the operational marketing and promotional strategy.
